Ontario Land Surveyors showcasing the Science of Surveying at Canada’s Science Rendezvous Kingston 16-day online experience
The Association of Ontario Land Surveyors, its members and new mascots, GeePS and Geo are participating in the Science Rendezvous online experience. The event website will go live on Saturday, May 1st and everyone, from toddlers to seniors, will have 16 days to explore the entire event site.
To honour its 10-year past, while celebrating its future, Science Rendezvous Kingston has evolved into a new virtual science festival that can connect with learners worldwide.
For Science Rendezvous Kingston co-ordinators Lynda Colgan and Kim Garrett, the cancellation of the 2020 event only helped spur them on to make a big bang of a return in 2021. They surrounded themselves with a small but inventive team through the faculty of education and Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, including a graphic designer, a web team and their volunteers.
