MERX Contract Opportunities Report For Geomatics in Canada
GoGeomatics Canada is quite a keen on MERX. They publish a lot of opportunities for doing business relating to geomatics with the government. For those of you who do not know what MERX is here is an explanation from the MERX website:

It’s free to visit the website and to look at the RFPs descriptions but you have to pay to download the full RFPs. So if you are a geomatics business or thinking of getting into the geomatics business, MERX is a place to go and look at opportunities. To see the full documents and all the information you need be sure to buy a subscription or purchase individual RFPs.
GoGeomatics will briefly list the public information from MERX relating to geomatics in Canada. If it proves popular we will keep it up as a regular new feature. Word to the wise. These RFPs are all time sensitive so if you are serious about bidding on them you should be going to MERX everyday to keep abreast of the new opportunities.
There are requests for human resources on MERX. So that means MERX is where a lot of the HR companies come to get contracts with the Federal government. You will see these jobs come under many different RFP’s. Almost all of them are with companies that hold preexisting arrangements with the government. The TBIPS announcement below is one of them.
