Julia Conzon and Joseph Kuchar

Julia Conzon is a GIScientist for Statistics Canada's Data Exploration and Integration Lab (DEIL). Aside from developing open geographic information systems, she is also pursuing her MSc at Carleton's Department of Geography and Environmental Studies on research topics related to geospatial data semantics and interoperability.

Joseph Kuchar has been a member of Statistics Canada's Data Exploration and Integration Lab (DEIL) since 2019. Joseph has been developing the Linkable Open Data Environment, an initiative to enhance the use of Canadian open data through compilation, standardization, and harmonization, as well as working on various geospatial analytical projects. He is the chair of the All Things Open monthly meeting series on open data and open source tools at Statistics Canada, and holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Ottawa.
