Calgary GoGeomatics & National Geomatics Competition Social Extravaganza

February’s Meetup is a special occasion. In conjunction with the National Geomatics Competition, GoGeomatics Calgary will be hosting a social icebreaker function at the Kilkenny Irish Pub. This is very near U of C, as well as the hotel that the delegates are staying. There is a floor space that we think will be good for the event, and we will be ordering food and drinks. We are planning on doing ice-breaker games and such (with prizes hopefully!) on the projector and many TV’s they have. Our special guest is Jonathan Murphy, Founder of GoGeomatics Canada.

The National Geomatics Competition is a student led event that sees students from post-secondary geomatics programs across Canada compete in a consulting case studies. There will be a conference held with sponsor booths and geomatics presentations. Come out and join us for a fun evening of games and socializing that is sure to be memorable.
