SUMMARY:The Line Crossed Us 2021: New Directions in Critical Border Studies Conference
DESCRIPTION:Building on the success of our first conference in June 2019\, the Lethbridge Border Studies Group is hosting our virtual follow-up conference\, The Line Crossed Us 2021: New Directions in Critical Border Studies\, from June 10-11\, 2021. \n \nThe conference brings Indigenous\, settler\, and migration politics and histories into conversation and focuses on early-career researchers to promote new voices and cutting-edge questions in the field of critical border studies. \nOur call for papers welcomed submissions from current graduate students\, emerging scholars\, community researchers\, and activists working on any aspect of border studies. This year approximately 70 presenters will share their research in fifteen panels over the two-day conference\, including two events that will be open to the public. \n \nPurchasing a free ticket to this event is your way to register and gain access to the “Online Event Page” where you will find the conference program and associated zoom links.
