Building on that success\, the Calgary session will focus on two core themes: \n\nWorkforce Development and Education: Explore how post-secondary programs\, training pathways\, and professional recognition can better align with rapidly evolving needs in areas like AI\, remote sensing\, digital twins\, and UAV operations. Discuss strategies to attract and retain diverse talent and ensure Canada’s geospatial workforce is future-ready.\nProcurement and Partnerships: Examine how procurement processes and partnership models can better support innovation\, level the playing field for small and medium-sized firms\, and foster collaboration between industry\, academia\, and government.\n\nThere will be no formal presentations\, keynotes\, or panels – only open\, moderated roundtable discussions where every voice counts. Insights from this session will be captured in a post-Expo report to help inform future initiatives across the country.
