The lakes of the Muskoka River Watershed have experienced large water quality changes from natural and human-induced stressors. These stressors include acidification\, climate change\, invasive species\, and shoreline development. In 2012\, cumulative-effects approaches to lake management evolved using geospatial technologies. The presentation will discuss a landscape-based approach to lake monitoring in the Muskoka River Watershed. Topics will include; (1) how to connect to open-source cloud imagery datasets in ArcGIS Pro using the new STAC UI function. (2) How to manage\, visualize\, and share imagery not traditionally seen in GIS using the new oriented imagery capability.
