Having worked in various roles at Global Raymac Surveys\, Darcy brings a wealth of field and office expertise in surveying\, geospatial solutions\, and industry technology. His background in CAD design\, petroleum land administration\, and geomatics sales makes him an excellent mentor and leader for our Calgary geomatics community. \n### George Petropoulos \nGeorge is a GIS Technician and Supervisor with hands-on experience in field surveying\, mapping production\, and geospatial data analysis. His background includes working with Silvatech Consulting Ltd. on BC’s Waste and Residue program\, where he supervised mapping projects and implemented efficiencies in production workflows. With a Bachelor of Science in Geography (Geomatics focus) from the University of Victoria\, George brings a strong foundation in GIS\, remote sensing\, and city planning\, making him a valuable addition to our group leadership. \n? Note: The meetup will run until May 2025\, then take a break for the summer\, resuming in September 2025. \n?
