GIS Day is Just around the Corner

This November 19, the geomatics world will celebrate the 15th annual GIS Day. GIS Day is part of Geography Awareness Week, a geographic literary initiative. It’s a way for participants across the world to celebrate the way that geospatial technology makes our world a better place.

GIS Day is a global educational event that provides a platform for vendors and users to open their doors to schools, businesses, and the general public to showcase real-world applications of GIS.

GoGeomatics is going to be taking part in the celebrations by participating in GIS Day at Carleton University. For those of you in the Ottawa area, make sure to stop by and say hello!
