Your Role:
Choose your own adventure! Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. Your role will include:
- Reviewing, coordinating, and managing building information models.
- Organizing, maintaining, and setting up CAD data environments and providing basic training and support for project teams in these ecosystems.
- Providing support for staff on various model formats and extraction of CAD architecture and engineering drawings from these models.
- Assisting the Architecture & Structural disciplines in model establishment.
- Working collaboratively with internal design teams, subconsultants, clients, and contractors to develop information exchange requirements for each of these stakeholders.
- Working collaboratively with project managers to identify, develop, and implement BIM strategies, execution plans, and workflows for efficient project delivery.
- Helping to develop and maintain BIM project execution plans.
- Performing model maintenance, including checking models for warnings, view organization, and conformity with BIM project requirements.
- Assisting the project team with training and implementation of workflows on projects with the support of project production leads.
- Coordinating with other consultants’ BIM models.
- Coordinating the handover of information at project milestones and closeout.
- Working with project managers to align production team efforts to meet submission dates.
- Staying current with industry standards and best practices related to BIM, including understanding the landscape of cloud-based BIM programs.
