Interested in expanding your technical experience into policy and business applications? If so, GeoIgnite Canada’s National Geospatial Leadership Conference is looking for you! June 22nd to 24th in Ottawa
The GeoIgnite 2020 advisory committee is looking for geomatics professionals that are curious, looking to their expand professional experience and enjoy research, writing and working on a team. www.geoignite.ca
Volunteers would work directly with a GeoIgnite Advisory committee member and support the committee with research such as identifying Geospatial & Location Technology trends and challenges, writing proposals and/or short issue papers. You might also be asked to send out emails on behalf of the committee for attracting speakers and workshop presenters.

This unpaid volunteer commitment is up to 3 to five hours per week, for 5 months and includes a reference letter from the conference chair and free admission to the full GeoIgnite program. Ticket value $700. Please submit a short written statement (500 words or less) of why you would like to volunteer with the committee, and any relevant experience to firstname.lastname@example.org the conference chair and a copy of your resume.
