Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled individual to join our team of GIS professionals and developers. As a
valued member of the team, you will be playing a key role in building and delivering a suite of web-based
GIS and project management tools for the Utilities sector. You will be leveraging your skillset on a variety
of platforms and software including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and PostgreSQL. In this role you will primarily be responsible for the following:
▪ Creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting web mapping applications (ArcGIS Online, Experience Builder)
▪ Supporting field crews with mobile data collection apps (Esri Field Maps, Survey123)
▪ Creating and updating SQL triggers as well as Python and other scripts
▪ Developing and delivering on operational mapping projects with tight timelines
▪ Converting, importing, managing, and manipulating data from a variety of sources
▪ Spatial data management
▪ Performing QA/QC tasks to ensure GIS data integrity
▪ Maintaining and developing in an enterprise GIS environment

Qualifications:
▪ A minimum of five (5) years of GIS experience
▪ A degree in Computer Science, Geography or similar plus a GIS Diploma or equivalent experience
▪ Experience publishing Esri web services in an enterprise or online environment (ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS
Online)
▪ Experience programming and scripting using Python, SQL, and JavaScript
▪ Working knowledge of Esri developer API and is an asset
▪ Familiarity with cloud-based services is an asset
▪ Experience leveraging data-driven pages or other methods for automated map production
▪ Excellent data management and cartographic skills
▪ Strong reasoning and troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail
▪ Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to customer service
▪ Canadian citizenship or legally qualified to work in Canada
