Volunteer Positions
As an Online Manager for GoGeomatics, you’ll join a team of volunteers who meet weekly on Zoom to discuss news, stories, and events in the geospatial sector. Together, we create content for the Canadian Spatial Times newsletter and the GoGeomatics online magazine, shaping the narrative for Canada’s geomatics community. The team meets every Tuesday for half an hour to collaborate on articles and manage content, including jobs, events, and news.
Responsibilities:
- Attend weekly Zoom meetings on Tuesday nights.
- Discuss relevant topics in the Canadian and international geomatics and geospatial sectors.
- Write and edit articles.
- Post content to the online magazine, such as job listings and events.
What You’ll Gain:
