High Resolution Mapping Along the Coastal Zone: CIG & GANS Workshop

Spatial Knowledge and Information – Canada 2017

SKI is the pre-eminent Canadian geospatial research symposium. This conference convenes Canadian leaders in GIScience with a focus on celebrating the research of current and bourgeoning GIScience scholars. All areas of GIScience, applied GIS, geomatics, Geoweb, mobile applications, remote sensing, spatial and geo-statistics, cartography, visualization and spatial analytics are encouraged.

The conference will be held from Thursday February 23rd to Saturday, February 25th, 2017. The conference begins with an icebreaker and social on Thursday, with paper presentations commencing Friday February 24th. See the registration tab for other dates.

112th ABCLS Annual General Meeting

The 112th AGM will be held at the Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort in Victoria on April 5 to 7, 2017. Information about accommodations for the AGM is now available. Before the AGM, there will be one and a half days of continuing professional development seminars – on April 5th and 6th. Learn how to use GPS devices to collect geo-referenced data, use software to plot your data and build a map as a final product.
