Join GoGeomatics Vancouver at the Royal Canadian Legion! SKI is the pre-eminent Canadian geospatial research symposium. This conference convenes Canadian leaders in GIScience with a focus on celebrating the research of current and bourgeoning GIScience scholars. All areas of GIScience, applied GIS, geomatics, Geoweb, mobile applications, remote sensing, spatial and geo-statistics, cartography, visualization and spatial analytics are encouraged.
The conference will be held from Thursday February 23rd to Saturday, February 25th, 2017. The conference begins with an icebreaker and social on Thursday, with paper presentations commencing Friday February 24th. See the registration tab for other dates.

Members of all Provincial Land Survey Associations to share in the joint celebrations of the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors (AOLS), the Association of Canada Lands Surveyors (ACLS), and l’Ordre des arpenteurs-géomètres du Québec (OAGQ) for the National Surveyors’ Conference, taking place March 1st and 2nd, 2017 in Ottawa Ontario. This two day event will allow industry and partners to showcase their organizations and share potential career possibilities with students/staff. During this event you can build and renew connections with students and faculty at COGS. Professional Associations are always invited to demonstrate to students the benefits of associations and professional designations available in their industry.
GeoAlberta is known for, sharing and networking with your industry peers and clients will be a key part of the event. Join nearly 400 Geomatics industry movers and shakers in special interest group breakout sessions, meet and mingle lunch hours, and interactive group workshops.
The 112th AGM will be held at the Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort in Victoria on April 5 to 7, 2017. Information about accommodations for the AGM is now available. Before the AGM, there will be one and a half days of continuing professional development seminars – on April 5th and 6th. This is a community-driven annual conference that focuses on creating open data awareness, exchanging knowledge and building the open data community across Ontario. Last year’s conference took place in Markham with attendees from federal, provincial and local governments, non-profits, community groups, academia, citizen activists and media. Join us the 2017 URISA Ontario’s Annual BeSpatial program event and marketplace exhibits, one of the LARGEST geospatial events in Southern Ontario! The 2017 BeSpatial event will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Markham Convention Centre. The fourth edition of the CIDCO conference will focus on innovations in bathymetry, quality assurance of hydrographic surveys, tide and separation models, education, and capacity building among other topics. We invite scholars and professionals with geography-related interests to submit abstracts and special session proposals for the 2017 Annual Conference of the Canadian Association of Geographers held at York University, May 29- June 2, 2017. The conference theme is Toward a Just and Sustainable World, reflecting the values of York University’s Department of Geography and the Canadian Association of Geographers.

The Earth Observation (EO) Summit 2017 brings together in one exceptional event the 38th Canadian Symposium on Remote Sensing (CSRS), the 17th Congress of the Association Québécoise de Télédétection (AQT) and the 11th Advanced SAR (ASAR) Workshop. This EO Summit 2017 is an international event to be held in Montréal from 20 to 22 June 2017. It aims to assemble several communities interested in Earth Observation (EO), its technologies, its applications and its societal benefits.
