The Calgary Surveying and Geomatics Educators Society (SaGES) Calls for Abstracts and Papers for 28th Biennial Conference
The Surveying and Geomatics Educators Society (SaGES) is issuing a call for abstracts and papers for their 2023 conference to be held at the University of Calgary, in Alberta Canada.
Anyone from the surveying or geomatics community including academia (both students and faculty), government, and industry, are welcome to submit an abstract or paper for presentation on surveying, geomatics, education, research, or outreach at the 28th biennial conference.
Abstracts should be 250-350 words, and papers should be designed for a 15-minute presentation (five minutes for questions). Send abstracts and papers to the conference organizer, Ivan Detchev (i.detchev@ucalgary.ca), and cc Joe Paiva (joepaiva@geo-learn.com).
There are three themes: Surveying and Geomatics Education, Surveying and Geomatics Research, and Surveying and Geomatics Outreach.

SAGES promotes the effective teaching and learning of surveying, mapping, geomatics, and other spatially‐related education. SAGES is a forum where academia, industry and government work together to exchange ideas, promote common causes, and provide opportunities to improve the teaching and learning of geomatics.
