Carina Butterworth is an Instructor in Geomatics Engineering Technology at SAIT’s School of Construction, where she has taught for nearly 15 years. A passionate educator and researcher, she integrates geomatics, GIS, and emerging technologies into applied learning. Carina is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Calgary, focused on improving breast cancer imaging through microwave technology. She has received multiple awards for teaching excellence and leadership in engineering education.
