Gisela holds a BA in geography from Concordia University and is currently living in Montreal and working in the art world as an exhibition planner for Ottawa-based art studio Loen.Art. With academic experience in hydrogeomorphological research and using data and modelling tools to predict river channel mobility, she is passionate about the power of GIS to improve our relationship with the natural world and create more resilient communities and ecosystems. In her free time Gisela enjoys dancing, reading, and learning new languages.
