Will Cadell

In 2010, Will Cadell founded Sparkgeo with a simple idea: to put maps on the internet. At that pivotal moment, location technology was beginning to transform industries, and Sparkgeo has since grown into a global geospatial leader. Today, his team works with major tech brands to design geospatial platforms, modernize legacy systems, and create new opportunities through location intelligence. Will’s academic background spans engineering and remote sensing, complemented by a postgraduate diploma in strategy and innovation from Oxford. Beyond Sparkgeo, he advises on boards, co-chairs the NORTH51 Conference, and frequently speaks at international events. Through these roles, he advances geospatial as a critical lens for understanding and solving global challenges. Based in Prince George, British Columbia, Will has built a life where innovation and adventure intersect. From skiing and biking out his back door to connecting with international markets, he has rooted Sparkgeo in the belief that great teams can solve hard problems and change industries.
