Ottawa | May 11–13, 2026
GeoIgnite 2026 is now accepting speaker submissions aligned with this year’s national themes: sovereignty, resilience, security, Arctic strategy, digital infrastructure and Canada’s position in a shifting global landscape.

GeoIgnite is Canada’s national geospatial leadership conference. It convenes senior leaders across industry, all levels of government including municipal, Indigenous organizations, NGOs and the academic community to examine how geospatial capability underpins Canada’s national interests.
We are particularly seeking strong contributions for Wednesday, May 13, our breakout program day. This is where deeper, policy-relevant and applied discussions take place across strategic tracks including:
• GEOINT, the Arctic and Canadian sovereignty
• Space and Earth observation for national resilience
• Digital delivery, infrastructure and sovereign data capability
Artificial intelligence is treated as an enabling capability across all themes.
We welcome perspectives from industry as well as public sector and academic leaders. GeoIgnite is not a venue for product pitches. The strongest industry submissions are those developed in partnership with a client or public sector collaborator, demonstrating how a real-world challenge was addressed in alignment with national priorities. Case-driven sessions grounded in practical outcomes are strongly encouraged.
Speaker participation includes a complimentary full conference pass. Travel and accommodation are the responsibility of the speaker.

All submissions are reviewed by the GeoIgnite program committee.
To submit, please complete the speaker form and email to [email protected] here: Speaker form
Submission deadline: March 15, 2026.
GeoIgnite is being built deliberately. If your work contributes to Canada’s national geospatial conversation, we invite you to submit.
