Canadian Open Data Society offers Extension for Canadian Open Data Award Nominations
Answer the Canadian Open Data Society’s call for nominations with an extended deadline.
The Canadian Open Data Society wants to recognize and celebrate excellence in open data in Canada. The awards are called the Canadian Open Data Awards, and the nominations are already open. The current deadline has been extended to December 1, 2022. The deadline was changed so more organizations and people can be nominated and recognized.
Any individual or organization in any sector is eligible. Nominations can be sent to nominations@opendatasociety.ca.
Available Awards:
- Open Data Accessibility Award
- Open Data for Democracy Award
- Open Data Equity Award
- Open Data Innovation Award
- Open Data Quality Award
- Open Data Rising Star
- Canadian Open Data Excellence Award 2022
- Canadian Open Data Leader of the Year
Submissions should be in Word Doc, with a maximum of 500 words, and must touch on any or all of the following criteria.
- Equity
- Innovation
- Data quality
- Accessibility
- Engagement and Advocacy
Awards will be announced in early 2023 on Canadian Open Data Society Channels.
