Terms and Conditions (Version 1)

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the GoGeomatics Canada Industry Directory (“Directory”), operated by GoGeomatics Canada (“GoGeomatics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By purchasing, creating, renewing, or maintaining a Directory listing, you (“Listing Owner,” “Company,” or “User”) agree to the following terms.

1. Purpose of the Directory

The Directory is intended to function as a credible, high-signal, Canada-focused listing of geomatics and geospatial companies.

The Directory is not:

  • A lead generation guarantee service
  • A marketing performance platform
  • A ranking or endorsement system

Inclusion in the Directory does not imply endorsement, certification, or validation beyond listing eligibility requirements.

2. Eligibility

Directory listings are limited to companies operating within the geomatics and geospatial sector.

GoGeomatics reserves the sole discretion to determine whether a company qualifies as in-scope for inclusion.

Individuals, educational institutions, government departments, NGOs, and other non-company entities are not eligible for inclusion in Version 1 of the Directory unless explicitly approved.

3. Accuracy and Representations

Listing Owners agree that:

  • All information submitted is accurate and not misleading.
  • Claims regarding services, certifications, capabilities, and Canadian presence are truthful.
  • Contact information is valid and monitored.

Listing Owners are responsible for updating their information as it changes.

GoGeomatics may, but is not obligated to, request clarification or supporting information if claims appear inconsistent or misleading.

4. Email Verification Requirement

A listing will not be made publicly visible until the listing owner’s email address has been verified.

GoGeomatics reserves the right to require re-verification if email validity is questioned.

5. Payment and Subscription

Directory listings are sold as annual subscription products.

  • Canonical price: $399 CAD per year
  • Subscriptions auto-renew annually unless cancelled
  • A valid credit card is required at signup, including promotional listings

Renewal notices will be provided in advance of renewal.

If payment fails:

  • The listing may be marked Expired
  • The listing may be removed from public visibility
  • Listing data may be retained but not displayed

Failure to renew does not entitle a listing to remain publicly visible.

6. Promotions and Incentives

From time to time, GoGeomatics may offer time-bound promotions or bundled incentives.

Such promotions:

  • Do not redefine the canonical annual subscription price
  • Do not create permanent discounted tiers
  • May be withdrawn or modified at any time

Eligibility for promotional access does not imply ongoing entitlement to discounted pricing.

7. Editorial and Removal Authority

GoGeomatics reserves the unilateral right to:

  • Remove or unpublish any listing
  • Modify listing formatting for consistency
  • Reclassify listings within taxonomy categories
  • Update directory schema or required fields

Removal may occur if a listing is determined to be:

  • Misleading
  • Offensive
  • Out of scope
  • Inactive or unresponsive
  • Damaging to the credibility or integrity of the Directory

Removal does not automatically entitle the Listing Owner to a refund.

8. No Endorsement or Warranty

Inclusion in the Directory does not constitute:

  • An endorsement
  • A certification
  • A guarantee of competence or service quality

The Directory is provided as a curated informational resource.

GoGeomatics makes no guarantees regarding:

  • Lead generation
  • Inquiries
  • Business outcomes
  • Visibility beyond reasonable directory placement

9. Limitation of Liability

GoGeomatics shall not be liable for:

  • Business losses
  • Lost revenue or missed opportunities
  • Technical downtime
  • Temporary unavailability
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid for the most recent annual subscription.

10. Schema and Platform Evolution

GoGeomatics may modify:

  • Directory categories
  • Required fields
  • Filtering structures
  • Display formats
  • Technical implementation

Such modifications do not constitute a breach of agreement.

Listing Owners may be required to update information to comply with schema changes.

11. Contact Mechanism

Directory contact functionality may route inquiries through GoGeomatics systems for attribution purposes.

GoGeomatics does not guarantee:

  • Volume of inquiries
  • Quality of inquiries
  • Protection from spam

Listing Owners are responsible for managing incoming communications.

12. Termination

Listing Owners may cancel renewal at any time prior to the renewal date.

GoGeomatics may suspend or terminate listings for violation of these Terms.

Termination for cause does not require advance notice.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada.

14. Acceptance

By completing the listing submission and checking the required Terms acceptance box, you confirm that:

  • You are authorized to act on behalf of the listed company
  • You agree to these Terms
  • You understand renewal and removal conditions

Failure to comply with these Terms may result in listing removal.
