10th International Conference on Agro-Geoinformatics and 43rd Canadian Symposium on Remote Sensing (hybrid event)

July 11, 2022 - July 14, 2022

On behalf of the members of the Organizing Committee from both the International Society of Agromatics (ISAM) and the Canadian Remote Sensing Society (CRSS), we have the pleasure of inviting you to attend the joint 10th International Conference on Agro-Geoinformatics and  43rd Canadian Symposium on Remote Sensing which will be held in Québec City from July 11th to 14th, 2022. It is currently planned as a hybrid (in-person and virtual) event. Those who are unable to attend the conference in person but wish to participate in it may do so virtually. Virtual participants (only) are able to make a presentation by prerecorded video. See Presentations/Q&A Sessions for more details.

The theme of this joint conference is “Remote Sensing and Geomatics for Sustainable Agriculture and Environment.” This event will thus be an opportunity to stimulate an open and inclusive dialogue about geomatics and remote sensing tools for agriculture and environmental applications. This event should make possible a dialogue between various stakeholders from around the world, including researchers, farmers, advisors, policymakers, and representatives from governments, local  communities  and the private sector. In particular, this conference will provide an excellent occasion to present these applications in the era of artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, the constellations of Earth Observation satellites, and open-source and cloud computing.

The Québec City Convention Centre is located in a prime area surrounded by world‐class hotels and tourist attractions, including the historic district of Old Québec. Québec City is the oldest and only fortified city in North America. Founded in 1608, the city is famous for its European character and magnificent landscapes, making it a highly valued and internationally recognized tourist destination. Québec City also proudly appears on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.

We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful city of Québec!
