OACETT’s Conference & Gala: Building Ontario, taking place June 13 – 15 at Caesars Windsor.
Building Ontario Conference is a premier event dedicated to the future of infrastructure and the built environment in Ontario. As the province continues to grow and evolve, so too does the need for innovative solutions to meet the challenges and opportunities currently facing Ontario. This conference will bring together industry leaders and professionals from institutions and companies, association leaders and experts to engage in thought-provoking discussions and share insights into the dynamic landscape of infrastructure development.
Over the course of this conference, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of engaging sessions, including inspiring keynotes, thought-leadership panels, and professional development workshops. These sessions will focus on both the pressing challenges we face—such as sustainability, climate resilience, and urbanization—as well as the exciting opportunities for growth, innovation, and collaboration.

This year’s conference will begin on the afternoon of Friday, June 13, with our Opening Remarks and keynote speaker, Greg Lindsay and will end with the Hospitality Reception on the evening of Saturday, June 14, following our Presidents Awards Gala.
Awards Gala
Join us for an unforgettable evening at the President’s Awards Dinner — a night of celebration, networking, and entertainment! The evening kicks off with a cocktail reception featuring live music, delectable canapés, and plenty of opportunities to connect.
Following the reception, enjoy a four-course dinner hosted by Second City alum, Sandy Jobin-Bevans, as we honor exceptional individuals and organizations who have made a lasting impact in engineering, applied science, and beyond. We’ll also celebrate the new OACETT Fellow honorees.
The celebration continues with a post-gala hospitality reception, where you can congratulate award winners while enjoying light refreshments. Everyone is welcome—OACETT membership is not required!

Conference Passes
- ALL ACCESS PASS – Includes all conference sessions on Friday and Saturday, starting with Opening Remarks on Friday, June 13 (2:00PM) and ending with the Hospitality Reception on the evening of Saturday, June 14. Also includes all meals, the Welcome Night Dinner & Reception, and the President’s Awards Dinner.
- 1-DAY FRIDAY PASS – Starts with Opening Remarks and the Keynote Speaker on Friday, June 13 (2:00 PM), followed by a panel sessions and coffee break, and ends with the Welcome Night Dinner & Reception (6:30-10:30 PM).
- 1-DAY SATURDAY PASS – Starts with professional development sessions on the morning of Saturday, June 14, followed by networking breaks, lunch and the technology partnership showcase. Does not include the President’s Awards Dinner (separate tickets available).
Tickets – President’s Awards Gala and Welcome Night Dinner & Reception
- President’s Awards Dinner: Celebrate with awardees and bring a guest to the event. Includes cocktail reception (6:30 PM), President’s Awards Dinner (7:30 PM), and hospitality reception (10:00-11:30 PM) on Saturday, June 14.
- Welcome Night Dinner & Reception: Network in a relaxed setting and bring a guest for a fun evening. The event includes dinner, drinks and live entertainment and takes place on Friday, June 13, from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM at Caesars Windsor Augustus 27 Room.

How to Register for the Conference and Gala
- Select the ticket type you would like to purchase
- Input the number of tickets you would like to order
- Enter a discount code (see codes below or use the one sent to you by OACETT)
- Select “Apply.”
- From here, you will be prompted to create a profile and answer a few questions pertaining to your tickets before being prompted for payment.
- Once you have paid – be sure to check your email for the confirmation email, which includes all pertinent details like hotel information, parking, access to the conference web app, onsite registration, etc.
