Canadian National Geomatics Competition

The National Geomatics Competition is the perfect opportunity to showcase your knowledge, to promote the profession, and to network with students and Geomatics professionals from different organizations throughout Canada.
The NGC will host teams of undergraduate Geomatics students from schools all across Canada. On the morning of Saturday February 23rd, the teams will be presented with a problem dealing with the various aspects of Geomatics, and then be given time to create a solution to the problem. Shortly after, the teams will present their solutions in front of a panel of judges, consisting of professionals in the industry.

Social activities will be scheduled throughout the weekend including a GoGeomatics Calgary Social for everyone’s enjoyment, including an awards gala which both the teams and sponsors will be invited to attend. There will be a number of professionals from our platinum sponsors, as well as from the University of Calgary.
