ArcGIS Apps Talk and Social

April 19, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

GoGeomatics is a networking event to welcome students, professionals, and academics in the field of geomatics in a casual environment.

Come out and have some drinks with other students, peers and professionals. This group is open to everyone in any geomatics-related field–GIS, surveying, remote sensing, photogrammetry, CAD, and more.

The social begins at 6 pm at Okanagan College, 1000 KLO Road, in room E202 inside the Centre for Learning (E building across the square from the main entrance of the campus), followed by drinks at Canadian Brewhouse starting at 7 pm at 130-3030 Pandosy St. At the college we will having a speaker, Dan Mallett from Esri Canada, present “There’s an ArcGIS App for That”.
“ArcGIS apps get the job done through their sheer focus, geographic awareness, and readiness to work. They are powered by the industry-leading ArcGIS mapping platform. In this talk Dan Mallett, Application Specialist, Esri Canada will attempt to demo as many apps as he can in a short period – because yes, there is an ArcGIS App for that”.
