Description:
GoGeomatics networking socials are a long standing Canadian geomatics tradition. These informal and free meetups bring together professionals, students, and enthusiasts in GIS, surveying, remote sensing, and related fields to share ideas and build connections.
There are no presentations or formalities, just good conversation and the chance to meet others who care about geomatics, mapping, and the future of geospatial technology in Canada.
Discussion Theme:
As Halloween creeps closer, we’re getting into the spirit of things — GIS style!
Get creative and think of your best answers to the following questions:
• If you had to dress up as a GIS/Surveying tool for Halloween, what would you be?
• Which geospatial concept would make the best Halloween monster?
Why Attend:
Meet others working and studying in geomatics across the Kootenays
Discover local projects and job opportunities
Be part of Canada’s national geospatial conversation
Enjoy a friendly evening at Torchlight Brewing with your community
