Kelowna GoGeomatics Meetup

We will begin with a presentation by Wes Sutherland called “Digital Outcrop Models – a GIS solution” in Meeting Room 2 (upstairs near the stairwell) of the Okanagan Regional Library, 1380 Ellis St.

Some bio information about Wes:

Wes Sutherland is a Sr. Geological Technologist working primarily in the Energy Resource sector for over 30 years in a wide variety of technical capacities, supporting everything from startups to multi-national companies.

With a deep passion for 3D visualizations of simulated and real-world geological and engineering processes, he’s utilized some innovative approaches to handling data gaps over the years.

Please join Wes as we explore a Digital Outcrop Model solution using a GIS.

From here, we will go to CRAFT Beer Market, 258 Bernard Ave, for a 6:45 reservation at Curious Cafe, 1423 Ellis St. Reservation under Dianne.

GoGeomatics is a networking event to welcome students, professionals, and academics in the field of geomatics in a casual environment.
Come out and have some drinks with other students, peers and professionals. This group is open to everyone in any geomatics-related field–GIS, surveying, remote sensing, photogrammetry, CAD, and more.
