Kelowna GoGeomatics Meetup

March 25 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

We will be having a presentation and open discussion led by Mark Laudon of the District of Lake Country called “The Who, What, Why and How of Open Street Map” in Meeting Room 3 of the library.

General topic outline:

  1. What is OpenStreetMap?
  2. Who uses OpenStreetMap?
  3. Why OpenStreetMap?
  4. How can I contribute to OpenStreetMap?

From here, we have a 6:45 reservation at BNA Brewing, 1250 Ellis St. Reservation name is under Dianne or GoGeomatics. If you can’t make the library part, you’re still welcome to join for the pub social.

GoGeomatics is a networking event to welcome students, professionals, and academics in the field of geomatics in a casual environment.
Come out and have some drinks with other students, peers and professionals. This group is open to everyone in any geomatics-related field–GIS, surveying, remote sensing, photogrammetry, CAD, and more.
