Kelowna GoGeomatics Meetup – ArcGIS Pro Imagery Presentation & Social

March 19 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

We will begin with a presentation by Jeff Petillion at 5:30 pm on Tuesday March 19th in Meeting Room 3 (downstairs near children’s area) of the Okanagan Regional Library.

The topic is:

What’s new for Imagery in ArcGIS Pro 3.2

Please join Jeff Petillion, Product Specialist for Imagery at Esri Canada as he covers new imagery capabilities that have been added to the latest version of ArcGIS Pro, 3.2. Topics will include; (1) how to connect to open-source cloud imagery datasets in ArcGIS Pro using the new STAC UI function. (2) How to manage, visualize, and share imagery not traditionally seen in GIS using the new oriented imagery capability. (3) How to detect any object using user specified text prompts through the new Text SAM Pre-trained Deep Learning Model.
Jeff is also interested in learning how your organization is using imagery in ArcGIS and will be available for questions on best practices and workflows for imagery management and analysis in ArcGIS Pro, Online, and Enterprise.

After this, we will head over to The Curious Artistry & Alchemy Cafe, 1423 Ellis St. at 6:30 to enjoy food and drinks over chatting. Reservation is under Dianne.
