Kootenays GoGeomatics Meetup in Nelson BC
The GoGeomatics community in the Kootenays is coming together again for another evening of networking, conversation, and geospatial community building in Nelson, British Columbia.
Join local organizer Alec Kvarnstrom and members of the regional geomatics community for a relaxed evening where professionals, students, and anyone interested in geospatial technology can connect.
GoGeomatics Meetups are informal gatherings that bring together people working in GIS, surveying, drones, remote sensing, mapping, and geospatial technology more broadly. These events provide an opportunity to meet others in the field, share ideas, and build connections within the local geomatics community.
Whether you are a long-time industry professional, early in your career, a student, or simply curious about geospatial technology, you are welcome to attend.

Founded in 1975, Urban Systems Ltd. is an employee-owned interdisciplinary consulting firm with offices in both large cities and small communities across Western Canada, including Nelson, Cranbrook, and Golden, BC. Their professional services include civil engineering, urban planning, landscape architecture, geographic information systems, environmental science, and other technical and corporate services.
