Public Safety Innovation Alliance

On behalf of the City of Hamilton, and the City of Mississauga, we would like to invite other interested municipalities, cities or regions that our interested to join the Public Safety Innovation Alliance Smart Cities Committee. This is similar to a Community of Practice where we would like to engage with cities across Canada in an effort to move help inform Smart Cities/Communities related practices.
The purpose of this group is to bring together interested municipal government staff together to be able to exchange ideas and share information around Smart Cities (Communities) related work, projects, pilots, smart city assets, policies, benefits and technologies. There is no cost (no MOU or formal sign up of any kind required) and membership is open to one person per municipality with a municipal email address. This is ideally suited to Smart City/Community practice leaders across Canada and intent is to grow participation of this group.
Currently the group is meeting the 4th Wednesday of the Month at 3:00 pm EST for 1 hour.
