R Presentation & Social – Kelowna GoGeomatics Meetup

We will begin with a presentation by Rachel Plewes called “Automated GIS Workflows in R” in Meeting Room 3 of the Okanagan Regional Library. This presentation will dive into the BC data package in R. It will give a few examples of environmental applications for GIS data.
From there we will head to Earls Kitchen & Bar on 211 Bernard Ave for a 6:30 reservation. Enjoy some food and drinks with us!
GoGeomatics is a networking event to welcome students, professionals, and academics in the field of geomatics in a casual environment.
Come out and have some drinks with other students, peers and professionals. This group is open to everyone in any geomatics-related field–GIS, surveying, remote sensing, photogrammetry, CAD, and more.
