SaGES 2023 Conference

You are invited to join the 28th biennial Surveying and Geomatics Educators’ Society (SaGES) conference. SaGES promotes the effective teaching and learning of surveying, mapping, geomatics engineering, and other geospatial disciplines. The conference is to be held on the University of Calgary campus on July 16-20, 2023. The main themes of the event will be surveying and geomatics education, research, and student recruitment / promotion of the profession. In addition, there will be three invited speakers:
- Mon, July 17, 2023 at 11:15 am: “Surveying the high-tech frontier for spatial success” by Kristian Morin from XYZ Reality
- Tue, July 18, 2023 at 11:15 am: “The spatial extent of Aboriginal title in Canada: parcels & boundaries” by Brian Ballantyne from BoundaryIntelligence
- Wed, July 19, 2023 at 11:15 am: “NATRF2022 – What Canada and the provinces are up to” by Geoff Banham from Geodetic Control, Lands Division, Alberta Environment and Protected Areas
