CAREER OPPORTUNITY: Project Manager
PROJECT MANAGER STATUS: Full Time
FULL TIME LOCATION: Kamloops
SALARY: $80,000-$150,000 annually

Underhill Geomatics is a progressive land surveying firm with offices in Fort St. John, Kamloops, Burnaby, Comox, and Whitehorse. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing survey projects from initiation to completion. You will lead a team of surveyors and support staff, ensuring project deliverables are met within budget, scope, and timeline. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a solid understanding of surveying principles and practices.

Responsibilities:
• Manage client relationships and communication.
• Lead project planning and execution including scope, budget, schedule, safety, and risk; allocate resources and oversee team performance; ensure quality control and compliance; monitor financials and manage change orders.
• Maintain documentation and reporting; drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in surveying/ geomatics/civil engineering
• 3+ years project management experience in surveying or geospatial industry
• Strong surveying knowledge
• Ability to access job sites
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Ability to work outdoors

Skills:
• Professional designation (BCLS, CLS, PEng) an asset but not required
• Excellent communication
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Integrity and professionalism
