Every year Maplecroft prepares a country-by-country scorecard Climate Change and Environmental Risk Atlas 2014 for the world’s countries that assesses the risks relating to climate change. Criteria include resource security; emissions and waste; ecosystem services; and environmental regulation.
The Atlas provides a tool to compare climate change risks for 193 countries. Risks relate to resource security; emissions and energy use; ecosystem services; and environmental regulation.
The countries most at risk are Bangladesh, Guinea-BIssau, Sierra Leone, Haiti, South Sudan, Nigeria, DR Congo, Cambodia, Philippines, and Ethiopia.
