Travel grant program
This year for the first time there is a travel grant program for those who need travel funding assistamce. This is an opportunity to strengthen the open source community by bringing more people together at FOSS4G. Grant requests (for registration, lodging, and travel costs) total over $100,000. The organizers would like to raise an additional $10,000 to help meet this need. You can support your colleagues by donating to the travel grant fund here, or when you register.
