25 March 2011, 05.15 UTC IAEA has issued the latest update on the current situation at Fukushima Daiichi.
Unit 1
Lighting in the Unit’s main control room has been restored as of 24 March.
Pressure in the reactor vessel remains high, but has stabilized.
Preparations are underway to replace sea water injection with fresh water.
Unit 2
TEPCO is working to restore lighting and coooling systems.
Preparations are underway to replace sea water injection with fresh water.
Unit 3
TEPCO was attempting to restore cooling and other equipement, but it had to suspend these activities when it was found that three workers were exposed to high levels of radiation in the turbine room on 24 March.

Units 5 and 6
At Units 5 and 6, repair of the temporary pump for Residual Heat Removal (RHR) was completed as of 24 March, and cooling resumed shortly thereafter.
Common spent fuel pool
Power was restored as of 24 March, and cooling resumed shortly thereafter. Work is under way to restore the lighting and instrumentation systems.
As of 24 March, 09:40 UTC, the water temperature of the pool was around 73 °C.
