Jackie Ng Taking Over Responsibility for MapGuide Maestro

Jackie Ng is taking over from Kenneth Skovhede as the primary maintainer of MapGuide Maestro. Jackie Ng has been known among the open source geospatial community over the past few years as the developer of the FDO Toolbox.  With Maestro now becoming his primary focus, he’ll be winding down his involvement in the FDO Toolbox.  Jackie’s long-term vision for Maestro is for it to become the ultimate tool for
geospatial data and he plans to incorporate data creation, querying,
analysis and ETL, all capabilities of the FDO Toolbox, into Maestro.  His vision is that you will soon see many parts of FDO Toolbox
being merged into future releases of Maestro.

FDO Toolbox Version 1.0, which will be based on FDO 3.5.0, will be the final release. After that, Jackie will be working full-time on the MapGuide and Maestro projects.
