I’ve blogged in the past about cities making their raw geospatial available to citizens, beginning with Vancouver.
Adam R. Jonasson GIS Coordinator City of Grand Forks, ND has released an Open Data Warehouse (ODW). This part of the City’s web site allows you to access raw geospatial data for your own use. The warehouse is designed to be your one stop location for GIS data for the City of Grand Forks. Data is available in several of the most common GIS and design formats (DWG, SHP, KML, ECW and Mr.SID). As well many of the layers are mashed-up with Google Maps.
