Be part of the Canadian Map Gallery!

IMIA, in partnership with the Canadian Cartographic Association and GoGeomatics Canada, is accepting submissions for the new traveling art gallery, showcasing outstanding Canada maps and posters from our members and the public.

The traveling map gallery is more than just a collection of maps; it’s a curated narrative that illustrates how cartographers, geographers, academia, and industry can collectively push the boundaries of what maps can represent and achieve. The submissions collected so far have been displayed at GoGeomatics and CCA events and will be on-site during the IMIA’s Map Industry Summit in Toronto. All items will be showcased at the GoGeomatics Expo in Calgary on October 28-30, 2024.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out the submission form and email to IMIA’s Alina Canca at acanca@oferrallgroup.com. The deadline for submissions to be received is August 9, 2024.
