It’s been years in the making. The Expo in Calgary, this November 6-8th, is the culmination of more than a decade of work- not just my own but, the volunteers, friends, clients, sponsors, readers and staff of GoGeomatics Canada.

Something that started as a geomatics jobs website in the early 2000s has grown into a vibrant community.

This is your invitation to join us in Calgary this November.  Over the past year, the GoGeomatics team has been working to create a big tent event and invite the Canadian and international geomatics communities to build something new and exciting in the heart of Canada’s geomatics sector.

The Expo takes its inspiration from large international events like INTERGEO in Germany and Geo Week in Denver.  These are large vendor-neutral events that continue to grow and bring our sector together. I highly recommend both events.

We’re working with some of the most innovative companies and education programs, both at home and abroad, to create a showcase of geospatial and location technology’s knowledge, science, technology and opportunities.
