From East to West: GeoIgnite Career Fairs in Ottawa and Calgary for 2024

The federal government is set to recruit top talent at Canada’s foremost geospatial leadership event in Ottawa this year. Running concurrently with GeoIgnite, the Career Fair offers a unique opportunity for job seekers to attend free of charge. This one-day recruiting event, returning for the first time since its last occurrence pre-COVID in 2019, has a history of success.  During the last event, the Natural Resources Canada HR team was awarded by the federal government for their outstanding recruiting achievements, notably securing three highly sought-after new talents.

The GeoIgnite Career Fair, scheduled for October 29th, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, will be held at the Big Four Roadhouse in the BMO Centre. Running concurrently with Canada’s national geomatics expo, it features a dedicated Career Fair Hall and a speaking theatre for career talks from recruiters and industry leaders. This structure is designed to foster meaningful interactions between job seekers and potential employers.
