Adam Stone

Adam Stone holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Carleton University and a completed Post-Doctoral Fellowship from the University of Victoria. His research focuses on the role of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in linguistics, and he is passionate about spatially-oriented approaches to language revitalization that recognize the intangible relationships languages have with the spaces they are spoken in. Based in Ottawa, Adam has experience in both non-profit geospatial and linguistic research roles, and enjoys learning languages in his spare time.
