This is a volunteer opportunity (with a preference for Alberta residents) to lead and shape programming focused on using geospatial technologies for community welfare, sustainability, and disaster resilience.
As the Public Good Program Chair, you will:
- Collaborate with experts and stakeholders to create an inspiring program showcasing how geomatics can drive public good in areas like climate resilience, disaster management, and urban planning.
- MC your sessions, making this a hands-on and impactful experience.
- Join the Expo Advisory Committee to influence the overall direction and content of the Expo.
We are looking for individuals with:
- Experience or interest in using geomatics to advance social and environmental initiatives.
- A passion for community-focused innovation.
- Fresh ideas and diverse perspectives — we believe diversity strengthens our impact.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, industries, and levels of experience. Submit a brief statement outlining your relevant experience and interest in the role to [email protected].
If you believe in the power of geomatics to make a positive impact, we want to hear from you!
