The workshop will cover the process of making choropleth maps and basic spatial analysis. You will learn how to make multiple maps easily and quickly by using loops. This is one of the major benefits of using a scripting language to make maps, rather than the traditional graphic point-and-click interface. You don’t need any previous coding experience to attend this workshop, although some experience with using spatial data, such as Google Maps.
