Kongsberg Satellite Services (KSAT) has joined GeoIgnite 2026 as a supporting sponsor and will also contribute to the conference program as a speaker. GeoIgnite 2026 will take place May 11–13 at the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre in Ottawa, Canada. At GeoIgnite, KSAT will present on the role of satellites as a critical source of situational awareness. Their session will explore how multiple sensor types—including optical, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), radio frequency (RF), and AIS—are combined to monitor activity across both onshore and offshore environments. The presentation will also highlight how rapid data acquisition and processing supports time-sensitive applications, particularly in security-focused contexts where timely insight is essential.
