“Analyzing Canadian Communities with POI Data” – SafeGraph
GIS data isn’t just for huge projects, it can also be used perfectly for small-scale community studies that make a difference to local businesses. In this talk from Juliana McMillan-Wilhoit from Tabulae Spatial and Briana Brown from SafeGraph, they go over some projects they’ve worked on and how POI data has proved valuable in determining where to allocate resources, open a new location, or identify under-served populations. Watch their chat from Day Two of GeoIgnite 2021 below.
