Ala'a Al-Habashna

Ala’a Al-Habashna has received his Master of Engineering degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2010, and his Ph.D. degree from Carleton University in 2018, both in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Dr. Al-Habashna has worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Carleton University and collaborated with many industrial partners. Furthermore, he worked as a lecturer at the School of Information Technology at Carleton University, and taught courses including Image and Signal Processing, and Computer Vision. Dr. Al-Habashna has won multiple awards including excellence and best-paper awards. Currently he is working as a Computer Vision Researcher and Data Scientist at the Data Exploration and Integration Lab, CSBP, Statistics Canada. He is also an Adjunct Research Professor at Carleton University.
