The National Geomatics Competition (NGC) is Canada’s student-led geomatics competition. The NGC was created to increase the visibility of the geomatics profession, give students an opportunity to showcase their knowledge and talents while networking with potential employers, and inspire the next generation of geomatics talent. The NGC bridges the gap between industry, academia, and students.

When & Where: January 27-30, 2022 – Québec City, Québec

Each year, the competition takes place in a different university, allowing each to showcase their respective geomatics programs and research subjects. Different sector partners take part in the event, and industry participation is an essential part of the NGC.

Will you join us as Canada’s top geomatics talent competes for prizes and bragging rights? Canada’s geomatics community comes together in a spirit of friendly competition.

Sponsors Needed

The NGC is a non-profit founded and managed by students. The competition would not be possible without the support of the sector.
