Kelowna GoGeomatics Meetup
April 29 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
We will be having a presentation by Jeff Petillion of Esri Canada called “Wildfire Mapping & Imagery in ArcGIS” in Meeting Room 2 of the library.
Description:
Imagery is essential for evaluating the impacts of wildfires, guiding response efforts, and supporting recovery efforts. This presentation will explore the different types of wildfire imagery available within the ArcGIS ecosystem. Learn where to access these resources and how to integrate them effectively into your workflows. Jeff will demonstrate techniques for analyzing wildfire impacts, visualizing burn severity, and incorporating imagery into GIS applications to support better decision-making.
Jeff Petillion is a Product Specialist for Imagery on Esri Canada’s Product Management Team.
